Dear valued users,

We’ve been quietly building lots of awesome new features based on your persistent feedback this past few weeks. Our engineering team got strengthen up with the addition of an amazing & smart software engineer intern from Polytechnique Montreal for this summer.

We’re also working hard with our international expansion in Latin America and are almost ready for deployment in Chile with more than 5 pilot ready to go live on our product.

Here is KARZEN software release 2018.06.01. Make sure to refresh your web browser to enjoy this new release.

New:

  • Record payment for your invoice is fully functional. You can now save the type of payment and amount related to it, or tag a check number related to a specific invoice. Multiple payment type are also now accepted. You will need to create a new invoice to see the record payment button appear on the lower right, and on the invoice table.

  • Quickbook Online Integration is now a reality. Your accountant will really love us! All invoices created in your KARZEN account are automatically synced to your Quickbook Online account. To do so, first, set up your account by linking your Quickbook Online in your setting. Make sure your account is set up for Quebec. Note: Invoice’s update will not be synced for the moment, only the creation of the invoice.

  • An administrator can create a resource in his settings. A resource can be a bay of service (Bay 1, Bay 2, Bay A, Bay B…), an equipment (alignment machine, painting room, …) or anything else you have in mind, like your dogs or cats’ names.
  • A resource can be assigned to an appointment.
  • A user can also now be assigned to an appointment.
  • Work Order filtering for multiple users. A mechanic user type can only see the work orders assigned to him.
  • Calendar filtering for multiple users. A mechanic user type can only see the appointments assigned to him.
  • Internationalization — KARZEN in Spanish . New language supported.
  • Internationalization — Chile — Adaptation to local rules. Detection of country. Removal of postal code/ZIP code in addresses. Insertion of the Chilean IVA taxes. Insertation of the RUT number. Insertion of Chilean regions.

Improved:

  • Custom services and parts lines items not from your inventory inserted into your work orders or invoices are now automatically added in your history for future usage.
New Service and Part item added to your history.
  • New account registration removal of the credit card form obligation during the on-boarding setup.
  • Lots of engine lubes and new component in our back-end system that will make future-work cycle lot more efficient.

Fixed:

  • Minor bugs and tweaks.

Coming up:

  • Internationalization — Chile — Integration to the SII| “Servicio de Impuestos Internos”, equivalent to CRA in Canada / IRS in the USA for invoices: “boleta electrónica” y “facturas electrónica”.
  • Ability to add and insert your own vehicle to override our main vehicle list.
  • KARZEN complete user interface and experience new design.

And of course, lots of more exciting things in our backlog to come up.
